Other Online Resources for General/Reference:  The resources on this page consist of databases containing information other than articles and web sites (some scholarly, some not) that might prove helpful for research.  For web sites, always consult your instructor to make sure they'll be acceptable for scholarly research. The content of this section is sub-divided in the following ways:

• The Genealogy section provides links to resources to track genealogical and historical information relating to families.
• The Law and Court Case Resources section provides links to both federal and North Carolina legislation and court cases.
• The Phone Directories section provides links to online resources to identify unfamiliar phone numbers.
• The Reader Advisory section provides links to tools to locate the next book in a series, to learn about fiction set in North Carolina, and to match the reading (lexile) level of children to books at the corresponding level.
• The Statistics section provides links to sites providing North Carolinacensus, health, salary and other statistical information.
