Finding Discipline- (Academic Subject-) Specific Databases

The following link will take you to a page that allows you to choose a Subject Guide that has a variety of resources specific to that particular major or discipline (academic subject area).

For article databases within each of these guides, click on the Articles link in the left sidebar of each guide.
Look for the ones that are "recommended"--in some Subject Guides, these will be designated by a little green "Recommended" icon, and in others they may be in their own "Recommended" box.

Tip: In order to limit your search results in these databases to scholarly journals only, remember to click on the limit for Scholarly or Peer-Reviewed or Refereed or Academic Journals (databases differ in the terminology they use). Using any one of these terms will eliminate articles from other sources besides scholarly journals (such as newspapers or magazines).
