The website of The Foundation for Critical Thinking provides a variety of reading material, assessments, research, professional development, and conferences. The Foundation and Center for Critical Thinking aim to improve education in colleges, universities and primary through secondary schools.

This is a free course designed by Wireless Philosophy and presented by Khan Academy to familiarize patrons with the basic concepts of Critical Thinking.

The Merseyside Skeptics Society is a society dedicated to "promoting skepticism in Merseyside, around the UK, and internationally." The do this through local meet-ups (which are a bit far away for people at Barton) and a wonderful selection of podcasts.
